In this second portion of the first chapter, we learn that Paul is showing us what it means to be a gardener in God’s ecosystem. By sowing seeds of renewal with the spade and shovel of prayer, we will uncover the hope of Christ’s calling, our inheritance in Christ, and the great power of Christ being deployed on our behalf.
